Please be advised that all personal data you disclose in your profile and for your registered dogs and entries, including posted YouTube search videos, are accessible to Cyber Scent Work officers and Review Officials. This data is not accessible to other users through the Application Site or us, unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy. Do not provide personal information about others (including by connecting your work email address to our Application Site) unless you are authorized or required to do so by applicable law or contract. Before supplying personal data about others, you, and the person about whom you supply the personal data must review and consent to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of the Application Site. By submitting any personal data about others, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so, that you have made the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy available to the person about whom you supply the personal data, and that you have obtained that person's written consent to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CSW, our parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents for any failure by you to comply with this paragraph.

 

You may also provide us with special categories of personal data under the GDPR (also known as sensitive data) about yourself and/or third parties, such as health information. Derivative Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Application Site, such as your native actions that are integral to the Application Site, including logging in, registering a dog, and submitting an entry, as well as other interactions with the Application Site and/or other users, such as sending a message to Cyber Scent Work through the Application Site itself, via server log files. This information is collected passively using various technologies and may include the type of internet browser or mobile device you use, any website from which you have come to the Application Site, your operating system, and may also include location data through an IP address that identifies the city and state where you logged into the Application Site or your precise geo-location if you have permitted your device to provide that information to us. CSW may store such information itself or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by CSW affiliates, agents, or service providers.

 

Financial Data

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g., valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Application Site. We only store that a successful payment was made, the total amount charged and the method of payment (PayPal or Stripe). Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processor, PayPal or Stripe, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

 

Aggregated Data

In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the Application Site, CSW often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on information we collect. We may also collect information through customer support communications, your communication to us of ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, with publicly-accessible information, “Unsolicited Information”). By sending us Unsolicited Information, you (a) agree that we are under no obligation of confidentiality, express or implied, with respect to the Unsolicited Information, (b) acknowledge that we may have something similar to the Unsolicited Information already under consideration or in development, (c) grant us an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, universe wide license to use, modify, prepare derivative works, publish, distribute and sublicense the Unsolicited Information, and (d) irrevocably waive, and cause to be waived, against CSW and its users any claims and assertions of any moral rights contained in such Unsolicited Information. This Unsolicited Information section shall survive any termination of your account or the Application Site. This Privacy Policy otherwise does not apply to any information collected by CSW other than information collected through the Application Site.

 

TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

 

Cookies and Web Beacons

SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
